boy, brettlarsen that monster of yours must be noisy whata piles of fans. i think u should get water cooling! LOL
Yeah might have to start checking the wet method out, is it fairly safe to use, in terms of the connections leaking and stuff? thats what worries me about using liquid with electronics

This is my beauty. I did a little cable sleeving inside but i find it impossible to do any wire management. It;s like this case was built against it, neither am I a master at that :)

Shot with Canon PowerShot S5 IS at 2008-05-18

I could be mistaken but is that a thermaltake power unit? I have the same case and a thermaltake PCU as well, and I found it difficult with 2 9800's to do much for getting the dang wires out of the way as well. It's cool that thermaltake let's you only plug in what you need (sort of) but the cables they give you to use are like 6 feet long and have 45 of the same type of connector on them lol, when you only need 8-12 inches and maybe one or two of that type. I was able to stuff a bunch of excess under the bottom fan, but not enough. My insides look like a rats nest.

I've been using water cooling for over 3 years now, and have had 0 leaks. Perhaps this is because I purchased a chassis that was designed to be used with (and included) water cooling - Thermaltake Tai-Chi.

If you do not want to purchase an entirely new chassis, then you should have a look around the Thermaltake site for other products that you could use.

Chassis:

Kandalf - VD4000 Series Super Tower

Are water cooling pumps pretty quiet compared to a few fans running full speed in a case?

OK.. finally done with this Baby.. I've finished, loaded OS and I'm up and Runnin Smoothly. I'm exited to play some games now. will wait til tomorro for when I get my Bose Sound System. :)

So, Here's some pics of the Final days of my build, me waiting for parts.. and everything else.. Check em out and let me kno how ya like it..

Click on the Images to Make them Bigger

Here's That HUGE Tuniq Tower, Size is massive next to my phone, & Silver 5

Here's Tuniq On my Mobo

img3120mu4.jpg

More Cable Managing, after I changed top fans, added DVD Drive and HD. Had to hide those also, and the Wire running down for the Tuniq Fan control Via Rear PCI slot!

Things Just Huge, make sure it fits ur Case.

Here's it Finished Basically

Back Panel Cables, sloppy I kno, but thats the Not Seen Side.!!

Almost finished with Pics, Here's it with no panel, on my Computer stand, those metal things will have to go. or I can switch the Tower mount to the other side. Blue Glows a lil bit, thats cool.

Funny thing Is, Thats the New Tuniq with the Blue LED fan inside, and you can barely if at all see the LED.. if I look straight from front of PC I can see it through the metal Fins.

OK, sorry. that was a lot of pictures. I said I'd post them when I was finishes so there they are..

Somoene had asked for a Shot of the back panel, Thats it for now, I'll clean it up later.

Overall I think everything turned out really well, Now I just got to get some RAM. will do that eventually here.

Thanks for checkin out my system. Let me kno what you think about all the goodies!

Cheers!

I just recently built my machine, but before I do pictures I'll have to clean up a bit - the work area is a bit too messy :P

@xguntherc - Yeah, it is massive - I have the 120 LFB model which matches nicely with the ThermalTake Armour case I bought - the one with the window and the 250 mm side fan - which just *barely* closes with that Tuniq in there.

Still, though, I was previously using the Tuniq on a P4 3.2(E) GHz Prescott Socket 478 CPU, and at idle it would keep the CPU at a cool 31 degrees, and even pushing the CPU to the max it would not break over 54.

The new Quad Core settles in at around 30-31 C, but maxes out at lower temps, usually 48-49. Of course, I haven't OC'd anything yet either....

A photagrapher huh.. you really think I did that good, or are you bein sarcastic..

like that picture with my Tuniq, my phone and the Antec Silver 5 thermal paste.. same as artic silver 5 but it's Antec silver 5.. and personally I've found it to be Better on both cards I've used it on.. and both CPU's so far.. good stuff.. just don't use to much..

yea I think I did pretty good on my Cable management.. it makes a difference also, the Case temps drop after managing wires cuz of better airflow.

and yes the pictures are big.. sorry, I uploaded them to fit a 17 inch Monitor.. i do that cuz mines 22 inch widescreen and that makes it cover most of it and it fits well, but for some it's probably to big and covers everyhting.. lol sorry.

ya I think those dual Monitors is the next thing I wanna do, or I wanna add 2 19inch monitors to my system, one on each side of my 22incher 226BW

Nice Rig there acdc.... You need to do some serious Cable Managing tho.. it helps airflow MORE than you think.. makes a difference.

Yes I know, need to work on it. But it is not seen and I don't open my rig too often to work on it. To tell the truth I have never paid attention to cable management inside the box....
Here are some more pictures, I hope this time they look better .....
