I went to that link Brink and they are 32-bit drivers only. Oh well. I look for 64 bit there. Thanks for the replies.

For everyone's attention:

The Nvidia UK International 178.24 installer - which when dowloaded wouldn't run due to being corrupted - is now 100% working and has just installed perfectly within my PC.

It wasn't just me then :P

These drivers are working great for me, improved my 3dMark Vantage score and seems to have fixed an issue in Quake Live for me.

The fan speed contral option just grayed out with this new beta driver via EVGA Precision or with NIVIDA Tool 6.02...

even Riva tuner v2.11's not worky right...

only PhysX do updated to v8.10.13 & nVIDIA Contral Panel updated to v2.2.300.00

what's wrong with nIVIDA recently?

back to v178.24...

Hi Shawn, I tried the beta driver but for some reason it left me with sound in Far Cry 2 but no Picture, Not much of improvement if you ask me, so I don't think they have that one quite right yet. I will give it another go when it comes out of beta or when they make the next beta.

EVGA Precision fan control still not worky...

at least they fixed NVIDIA Tool 6.03 with this new beta driver...play well together...fan control's back to normal...

Riva tuner v2.11 also get the job done this time...

Anyone tried this.. I've heard the 180 driver is buggy.. or is that BS. I've also heard Nvidia released a driver for Far Cry 2.. I'd like to get it since I'm playing that right now

i cant believe i only found out yesterday that the 180.42s had no fan control....
i usually let RT control it but unknown to me in the 2 or 3 days of having them installed all the gaming i done would of been at a fixed 25% :eek::eek: frying the ass off it!!!!

but all is well now with the 43s ......

oh Gunther i see 0 bugs!! & this is the dedicated FarCry 2 driver.

Hi Gunther,

NVIDIA messed up with the 180.42 beta drivers and released them with no fan controls. However, the quickly rushed released 180.43 beta driver version resolved that problem though. So far I have not seen any problems with this driver version.

If I'm not mistaken, I think you will need to install the NVIDIA System Tools to have the fan control options in the NVIDIA Control Panel.
