These drivers do not work for me. Once I boot into Vista, my display turns off (monitor in standby mode). I usually just upgrade the drivers, but when that didn't work, I completely uninstalled anything nVidia. I used driver cleaners as well in Safe Mode, then installed the new driver again, but no luck. Oh well, I was happy with 177.92 anyways.

Thats no good. I just got my Q9650. so after I install this and feel comfortable with it.. I'll update drivers. to 178 and see how they are.

I always download straight from nVidia. I don't install leaked drivers. I can't get them to work, but since 177.92 work fine and as I'm not seeing any major improvements between them and 178.13, I don't care to wait for the next update.

Cool Brink. I'll give them a try and see if maybe it will fix my monitor problem.. but I'm thinkin thats actually a MONITOR problem. as in RMA to Sammy. but we'll see. the new 22 has been acting up sometimes.

Working fine for me too. Been getting a 20-30fps more for me in COD4, and other games I play like CSS and Star Wars Galaxies run a lot smoother.

No not yet.. I need to. I think I did one for the 226BW.. but not my new one thats acting up. the 2253.

I'm just leavin for work. I'll update to 178.13 when I get home and try that monitor driver also.

I have an ECS 8800GT w/Accelero heatshink and I recently installed the 178.13 drivers due to the Vista x64 Ultimate upgrade. I have noticed that this installation also installed the physix drivers as well but I did not noticed anything different when playing Crysis and on DX10... what gives? Is there something I need to tweak to make this work or my video card just doesn't support this feature.

I'm using the 178.13 drivers on a BFG 8800 GTS OC 512MB card and they seem good. The PhysX stuff is only on certain games-see-
PhysX Games List
I have Bioshock and Mass Effect and the effect is quite subtle and you soon forget what it was like before. Basically you can smash down walls etc
Crysis is not on the list so must not have the PhysX stuff. Still looks great anyway.

Ahhhhh, ok, I started reading some other threads about CUDA this and CUDA that and my head almost exploded. I have enough of a hard time dealing with all this new Vista stuff for the moment. :p

On the other hand, I thought Crysis was the only game to push the envelope of technology so I figured it was going to take advantage of this feature... I really don't read as much as I should! :o
