I'm pretty happy with mine, as I don't do any gaming. The GeForce shared graphics board I have on this off-the-shelf HP system is just fine for my image editing, and handles Adobe InDesign and the image editor at the same time without a problem. (I am using a 4 Gb ReadyBoost thumb drive, just in case the system needs it.)
Processor 5.3
Memory 5.9
Graphics 3.1
Gaming 3.0
Primary HD 5.6

Overall is 3.0 due to gaming graphics score. Aero works fine; it's not an Ultimate system but the next one likely will be.

So I just got 2x2GB of G-Skill pc2-8000 RAM.

Newegg.com - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

and after checking my score I get a 5.5 shouldn't this RAM get me to 5.9 like many others are at.. I kno it's not set up right, maybe I just need to tweak it in the BIOS.. what did you do JohnGalt.. or is your 2x2 OCZ still getting the score you posted above..

in CPU-Z my ram shows up as only 800 and not 1000, so I'm thinkin I just need to adjust it.. does this sound right?

Not sure why you got DDR2-1000 and run a 1333FSB? I run DDR2-800 on 1600FSB so it's 1:1 FSB to memory ratio. You'll need to hit 2000FSB to get to 1:1 ratio with your memory.

Running a FSB of 1600MHz (effective) is probably how I got a 5.9 score.

So what should I do JonMC.. or am i basically out of luck unless I buy 800.. I just figured why buy 800 when I could get something faster for the same price.. although i think it's showing 800 in CPU-Z anyways..
at 1333 FSB my CPU runs at 3.33 GHz, and at 1400 it runs at 3.5GHz, thats where I'm at now. if I went to 2000 it would be way way to much.. what can I do to make my ram run right.. or better? as ram is not my best subject in Computers...

Well I wasn't paying much attention when I answered what you said there JonMc.. and as I see what ur sayin.. but I have my Ram set in the BIOS to Unlinked.. so its ok that it's not the same FSB... although It would be nice to have 1:1

I actually went into the BIOS and this new ddr2-1000 ram i bought was plug and play running at 667.. what a load a BS huh.. so I changed it to 800 and I got a score of 5.8 in WEI Score.. then I went back in and changed it to 1000 and I got my 5.9 score I was going for.. lol although that score doesn't really matter all that much to me.. but at 800 it would still run at 5-5-5-15.. and now I moved it up to 1000 it changed to 5-7-7-18.. what a load of crap huh, right on the back of the box it says DDR2-1000 pc2-8000 at 5-5-5-15... so my question is can I just go in and manually change those timings to 5-5-5-15 now I've changed it to 1000???

BTW here's a screeny of my score:

Yea I think I need to do some tweaking as I have 4 gigs of DDR2-1066 and my score is only 5.7 on ram and thats the only score lower than 5.9 in my system.

I had the same problem.. do you kno that it's ACTUALLY running at 1066... if you can check, do it and let me kno. it's probably running at 800, or possibly 667. it should be plug and play, but lots of ram needs to be changed.. My ram is G-Skill DDR2-1000 and at that I got 5.9 and at 800 I got a 5.6 so I went to 1000 and did the test.. got 5.9 then lowered it back to 800 with faster timings.. and a lil more volts... I'd check that if I was you.. cuz 1066 should get a 5.9 go in your BIOS and check whats it's actually running at. and check the Timings.. they might be wrong also
