Running any background programs?

Here is mine:

An E6600 @ 3.5GHz cannot score 5.9? I have only seen quads get 5.9s in the CPU bench.

Don't feel so bad..lol...I got a 5.6 for gaming graphics for what I have.
BTW...yeah quads get 5.9 easy, but I'm impressed, you managed 5.8 for ur CPU.

Hehe, thanks. I've seen some people get like 5.3 in memory with DDR2-1066MHz. And you get 5.6 with 8800GTX SLI?!?! Messed up, dude, that is seriously messed up. What driver version are you running?

Well, here's some interesting facts:
On my ASUS Crosshair using AMDX2 6000(3GHz)stock I scored 5.9 on both graphics/gaming graphics using my evga 8800 GTS 640MB GPU, but I get 5.6 on my BFG 8800 GTX OCII in SLi, and 5.9 on RAM.
Now, as for RAM I only recently got the 5.9 when I OC'd my Q6600 quad to 3GHz??
It was a lousy 5.1-5.2 two days ago:eek:
So, yes these scores don't mean much.
I know my system is a kickass, other people know it's kickass, so why should I let it bother me.
As for drivers, using 169.44 X64bit and enabled SLi...so, I did my job...lmao

Exactly. It is a kick-ass system, one of the best ones I've seen. Did you use a memory divider when overclocking? Else, it might've raised the memory clocks, too, when you OC'd the quad.

Thanx for the compliments dude...yeah I put a lot of sweat&$$ in this machine..
Here...I'll attach actual shots I took of my over clocking from BIOS:

I could have OC'd this to 3.6GHz without breaking a sweat ...but I'm more comfortable with 3.0GHz.
Plus when I sell it one day for the quad extreme 3.0 GHz + range...I hope I can get a good $$ for it.

It's been pointed out a few times throughout thie thread, but it's an awful lot to have to wade through: So a quick note on how WEI works:

It is not a benchmark measuring individual components. Rather it is a guideline on each SUBSYSTEM is performing. i.e. - It isn't measuring how fast your CPU is. Rather it is measuring how much data can be processed. So a quad is going to have a huge adantage over any dual core. The same applies to RAM: The standard isn't the speed of your DIMMS. It is how much data can be crammed through the memory subsystem - This *includes* your Front Side Buss! So DDR2 800 on a 1600 Mhz Front Side buss is going to get a 5.9. Likewise, your 1066 High Performance memory will be held back if you have it on a stock FSB.

So you may be more comfortable if you view WEI as a guide to real world efficiency, rather than some measure of absolute performance.

My next door neighbour was upsetting me by always telling me that his index score was better than mine.
So since he saw the above score on my new laptop, he's not bothering me anymore....
