Just thought I would add this for any of the Aussie crew that were looking for one of these....

8pin ATX Extension Cable 30cm Sleeved 8pin ATX Extension Cable 30cm [RC-8PINEXT] - $6.70 : PC Case Gear, Quality case accessories and components

8pin power supply cable extension.....30cm, sleeved.

NICE! Will sort my cable management right out.

And I can recommend that supplier too...Have purchased there a couple of times. Good service.

Me and Bare Foot Kid are already ahead of you with these Kustom PCs Silverstone PP04 Extension Kit ;)

I ordered one today, will be here on Monday :D...

Having the short 8 pin lead was a serious flaw with my rig....

Everlong: Yeah I just wanted to try to see if it worked... I knew the chances were slim like Emulator said but you never know.

Then I came to the situation where I love XP, Vista is meh, and Windows 7 is awesome.... But I didn't want Windows 7 on there because it's still Beta... So that's where I was trying to decide new (vista) vs old (xp).

I went with Vista x64 Ultimate..

My problem after I installed it was when I tried to activate it......... It wouldn't let me activate it since the license is already on a PC (it was on that PC before I installed the new mobo) so I tried to activate it via online and it wouldn't work.

I called Microsoft at 10:45pm (EST) and they said something about the servers not allowing them to activate something or another. I couldn't hardly understand the guy but pretty much he told me to wait an hour and call back....... Well I went to bed so I have not called yet (but now I am at work and can't call)

they're pretty good about helping you activate..although for some strange reason, i've installed this single oem copy on 3 mobos and activated each time.. i know i seem to have , strangley alot of luck..but its true lol

I am new to this site and I wanted to join in on the post.
Here is my updated rig. I upgraded from CM690 to CM HAF 932 just like Gunther. I am going to upgrade to EVGA GTX 275 very soon and add CM V-8 cpu cooler. The cpu cooler I'm using now looks a little sad.:(

lol no worries.

I've ordered several lots of various cables and the like. Nothing big. Each order was in my mailbox within three working days...

go figure.

Try 2 weeks and a lot hassles for my last order :p

I ordered 5xred case fans and some cold cathodes. After the first week of my order being at "processing" and a few unanswered e-mails, I rang them to discover the fans I ordered that were "in stock" on the website actually weren't. I changed the order to 4xgreen and 1 different brand red since I was told on the phone that they "were all in stock".

By now it was into the second week of "processing" and I'd already paid the difference owing on that one fan, so I rang them again only to discover that the fan I had paid a difference on wasn't actually in stock.

Guess what they offered as a replacement for that? One of the fans I had originally ordered...

To add insult to injury my cold cathodes arrived broken:mad:

I ordered my case through them in another order and that took over a week as well. All the other stores I've ordered from have only taken 3-4 days, so yeah, I'm not in a rush to use them again - even if they do have good prices :p

lol no worries.

Yep. That would be annoying lol

I dont blame you.

I have a story about a BIG local wholesaler selling me an already RMA'd motherboard...but thats a story for another thread :P
