its a shame the PSU wont sit happily in it but im sure thats not a biggie, is that a cold cathode ring on the top or LED..??

It's 4 tri colour LEDS that constantly cycle the colours in the fan.

As for the PSU it's a shame it wont fit but tbh I just dont care as there is plenty of room to put it outside the case.

are you using this one for general use now..??

it is a PROPER bit of kit though john , how's it doing for dust..?? any visible build up yet..?? no dust.... GREAT!!

No idea, but if I remember tomorrow when everybody has gone out, I will do some tests using our home power consumption meter

i bet the whole lot don't break 500w, yet for a system like that i would be recommending 850w+

Mine gets it every month. I strip it and clean it myself. It is a pain so I have turned my fans down from high to medium, hopefully only having to clean it every 2 months.

Every 2 months? Holy smokes that's often. I clean mine about once a year. The server w/ loads of fans? Twice a year. My advice? Get some really fine meshing to put over your fans. Maybe better filters in your household ventilation? (Not trying to offend, but you should not need to clean your gear out that often!)

I'm only on my second one, but when tax time rolls around I'll be building my third. When I decide what I'm going to use I will let you know! I do know for a fact its going to be all AMD/ATI!

I may also ad another pair of the Seagate 500 GB 32MB Cache 7200.11 HDs - and run those in RAID0 for the heck of it

To be honest I think I'm going to stay with DDR2 for my next build.

Not me - I am using DDR2 now and I am moving to DDR3 - I want a new CPU that crushes the current line of Quad Cores, and the only way to get it is to move to DDR3 - so I am moving to DDR3.

Yah it's having a rough time... And I can't find a way to unlock my ruddy CPU Multiplier on this stupide old foxconn mobo...:@

I might get the 3.2GHz dual Core from my friend tho, just built him a new pc so he's got spare parts now..:D

PS: and the PCI-e x16 isn't 2.0, so it's not at its fullest potential just yet...

The PCI-E 2.0 doesn't really make a world of difference. I think the main difference it did was allow x16 in both PCI-E lanes in SLI.
