Nvidia GeForce WHQL certified drivers 191.07 available.

This is a WHQL-certified driver for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, and 200-series desktop GPUs and ION desktop GPUs.

check your GPU temps.....if you can NVidia have borked the thermal sensor management , many including me have found there is no way to monitor gpu temp , leaving me wondering how the drivers can set the fan speed correctly , leaving many with cards that just get hotter and hotter , fantastic job NVidia

if you have this issue and you like the drivers and want to keep them go into regedit and search for RmThermalProviderInfo and RmThermalProviderNum delete them both and reboot , this will sort it out

as are thousands of others , not everyone is effected , they may have even released a fixed set of drivers by now , only those who downloaded the first set may be affected but it needs to be checked as its a potentially disastorous bug if your fan profile is borked because of it

and STILL as with EVERY 190 series release we cant force AA through the control panel and STILL random fps drops , looks like ill be stuck on 186.18 for ever more , the last set of NVidia drivers that actually work

I've never been able to force AA effectively through the control panel.

Though forcing AA through nHancer works fine. You might need to set the AA compatibility to something different, but it does work.

I always use NHancer mate that hasnt worked either since 19 series , my main problem is (as i always use ingame AA when possible anyway) that gamma correct and transparency AA dont work , without these there is a noticeable drop in IQ , and when your as anal as me about IQ its bummin annoyin oh and AF doesnt work either meaning 8x is the max i can get in opf2 , i have no issues with the 186 drivers but i really want it fixing befor modern warfare 2 cos thse drivers will be dated y then

also do you not notice alot of stuttering/fps drops with the 19 series? , its terrible

and just so know its not just me imagining all this ...............

also if you look through the other threads pertaining to driver releases you'll see the AA issue coming up again and again

I'v got no problems with FPS drops or anything like that, but on a few games the background text and texture gets all blurry, have no idea what this is.

can you force AA through the control panel with these? its been borked ever since the 19's started?

it seems not also , riva tuner crashes , borderlands crashes , cod waw bluescreens , nvidia control panel shows a completely differant driver version and physX is screwed up , and on my windows 7 install the control panel wont install.

games i can get to run wont go over 30fps?!

edit .............. it seems ive managed to get hold of the old version there is a new version out now , NVidia pulled the old version yesterday which makes me wonder how the hell i got the old ones as i downloaded them about an hour ago :P im leaving them be for now i cant loose anymore hair

Hi all i just want your opinion i had the beta 195.39 drivers installed but the windows index score went down on gaming graphics to 5.8 woot i have a gtx 275 and even my old 9800gt had a 5.9 gaming graphics rating! So i went back to the 191's and it was back to 5.9 but archie told me they were no good and he told me to go to the 186's which i did everything seems alot darker (it looks good and not too dark yet darker than it was)!! I would like your opinion guys if i should go back to the 191's or not!

by all means roll back your drivers to the new ones but NOT the 195.39 get the 191.07 whql the new beta drivers are far too unstable and causing issues for thousands

all was well with these till i exited modern warfare 2 then on restarting the game my clocks stick at 2D , after testing other games thay are the same , too ah well back to 186.18

last night this happened to me, the clocks locked in 2d mode while gaming.... the game basically ground to a halt & i couldn't get them to default

i had to reboot to get back full speed...
