I have just upgraded the driver to 9.11 and while the display is fine. CCC simply will not run.
It shows on desktop right click and in the programmes menu but will not run. Is this a known issue (with a fix)? Does it matter?

Hello jonmal123,
Did you un-install the old drivers first ?.
Here is a link for driver sweeper, boot in to safe mode, clean your old drivers, reboot in normal mode, and re-install.
Good luck and post your results.

Sad to say I didn't clear the old driver. But there is a complication for me. The new driver is not compatible with a prog I use a lot - OnOne PhotoTools. It's a plug in for Photoshop CS4. Their support forum shows it as a new issue and there are calls for the company or ATI to get their finger out! I rolled back to the last driver and it works again, but no CCC. I don't think I need it as I don't game (Exc Flight Sim) but it's annoying. If it had worked I would still had to roll back to get my plug in to work...

Yes it did - that was the one on the CD that came with the graphics card.

WOW, how old is that one, lol.

If you want to go through all trouble of un-installing it again and cleaning, you could probably get CCC working again.

On the support forum you went to, did they say what was the last driver it worked successfully with, because you can go to the ATI site and download that driver.
It will probably be a lot newer than the one on the disk.

If you can live without it, then no prob's.

Hmm...Yeah I didn't think to uninstall old driver/s either. Could therr be a conflict? Seems to be fine..
