i like ps games as battlefield 2, battlefield 2142 ,video is set to 1600 at 1200 60Hz on a G24 acer 24" lcd display. with 1 3870 X2 card and riva tuner to fix the fan at 72% use, all the otter cooling in the system is hibrid liquid, the system have for video use no problem at all. think that if i work in crossfire the cards are to close to getter (4mm) result in overheating cards are not in OC in bios is 100.

i havent tried 9.5 yet ...will wait until UVD from ATI is out and fully mature. This saves the user half the time when encoding ( at least that is what they say ).

I have an Intel comp with an ATI Radeon and last i downloaded any update driver it made everything look weird

They dont always get it right, but this one seem's to be ok.

Unfortunately whatever they fix, they always manage to break something else that was working.

I have to disable my second display to play any games as they keep switching back and forth to the desktop

for anyone who's interested here's the XTREME-G 9.6 ATI drivers.....

these add a few extra options in CCC and deliver a tad better performance.

These are 3rd party modified drivers and are not official drivers from ATI.

ATI Catalyst 9.7 Released.

AMD has delivered it's first Official Unified Windows 7/Windows Vista Microsoft WHQL certified graphics driver for the Windows 7 RTM - amd.com

Just pick your OS - x64 or x86 - card and number, it will have 9.7 there, but say 9.6 at the top. It's 9.7 though, they just haven't updated the title part yet.

As for the drivers themselves: They were a painless in-place installation for a change :D
