Yes I thought about the possibility of keeping it for that purpose, but I have very little room and can't really do it, nice thought though

I have the Thermaltake Armor + Super tower.... The speedo is very similar... There is huge amounts of space within the case... thermaltake cases are very well made ( altho a bit heavy but that is because of thier steel construction) and they always look great .. the cooling capilities of these cases are immence... in my armor+ for example i have 2 x 140mm, 3x 120mm and 1 x 23cm fan...and all the 120mm fans can be replaced with 140mm fans ( i used 120mm because its hard to source any blue LED 140mm fans . The Thermaltake Spedo case has pretty much all the same capabilities and would be a very good investment.

I have never work with the Spedo, but it looks like a pretty good one if you can get for a discount.

Yeah, I was oogling (sp?) the 1010as well but way over my pric range and I just can't wrap my head around the idea of spending that much for a case.

I tell you guys, this is getting harder and harder each day... I am going to have to pull the trigger soon or I may not buy anything.

I know this is about cases but since we have also touched the temps here and I don't want to open up another thread (I feel I use you guys to much ops... I'll just ask.

Is it normal for my GTX260 to go from 38C at idle to about 63C when gaming?

It is extremely cold inside the house tonight and this is why I am seeing those lower temps but I also went from 40% gpu fan to 60% gpu fan. I also installed another small fan on the side panel of my case but that only got me about 1C lower than w/o a fan.

Anyways, is it normal for it to jump that much from idle to high?

These are good temps. It is not unusual hovering around 80C during gaming.

OK guys... is it time to pull the pin, forget about money, forget about everything... which one would you get if they let you choose between these 2 cases?

The price I am getting for any of these two is about 90 to 100 bucks cheaper so they are within my budget.

My only negative thought here is, even though I like & prefer Full Towers, the Xclio, at 26" in height is going to be tight where I need to put it. The TT Spedo is only 24" but still tight though.

The Thermaltake Spedo. Kungpow's input on the Spedo a few pages back summed it up with how Thermaltake cases are as he uses the Armor+.

Thermaltake Spedo is my choice; in which the workmanship, built material, and functionality are superior then the other.

The Xclio, on the other hand, is an ordinary cheap axx case with a bounch of fans mounting on plastic. I can't clearly see how all those fans create a smooth air flow to carry the heat out created by the GPU located about an inch or so off the ground plus the HDDs.

As the height is concern, the two inches different is including the piece of plastic on the top. The inside is not that much of different. The Spedo will fit great even with SLi and easy to work with.
