do you have a external dvd drive you can test (very unlikely but still checking if you might)

You need to reinstall. Try system restore from the furthest restore point available so that you can boot from the disk, then do a destructive reformat and reinstallation

ok, I will, but that Trojan Horse comes from the same spot every time: "Username"/appdata/roaming/systm/systm.dll

is that file important org can I delete it?

That is a system appdata dynamic link for your user account.
go here and scan/clean the viruses:Free ESET Online Antivirus Scanner

if it works then its not a motherboard issue
(wait is this IDE?)

also if you have another (i believe this is a SATA drive correct?) cable try if you can boot up from same drive with a different cable...

and as always check back...

I can't do that now, my mother won't allow me to do it she thinks I will destroy it, even though i fixed it twice, she want me to deliver it to service at the company I bought it from. but if I can fix it, whats the point delivering it? I'll check later, its like 1 am here, and i'm tired. I can try tomorrow when mothers not home.

Thanks A lot for all the help so far guys!!:)

You got that right!

yes, I've restored my system to the 24th, my antivirus has expired, and mom keep saying she will ugrade and purchase, but it never happens. So I'll take a creditcard and do it myself (only way to get it done around my house:p) and my current AntiVirus is Norton internet Security 2008 or something, don't know if u know it, but its not the best. I see that now after the online scan. gotta get a new one...

or if you dont want to waste no money (as a college student you have to pinch every penny...lol) use avast...
just keep your av updated regularly with whichever av you go with and you should be protected
[as always check scann your hardrives for viruses at least once a month (if not more..)]

My Computer

yeah, well my parents pay for the internet, AntiVirus and electricity. don't have so much to worry about when it comes to money :p. my school is in my town so I stay home with my parents. I used avast and AVG before we bought Norton, but Norton seems to let some viruses and malwares through.

after all the NOD32 scans there is a difference:), when I put in the Vista disc windows finds it but can't read it. same with the games, so NOD32 fixed something:D later today I will try to hook the old optical driver from "our"(moms) old computer up to my new system to reinstall Vista (the old driver can read all of the DVD's), then switch back to check if the DVDs can be read then.

Thanks for the NOD32 tip, now i'm seeing progress!

Try the Advisor program its free (I posted it awhile back) i use it on my wife's system and it helps. It may also auto fix some corrupted files in windows. I still think thats your problem as opposed to a hardware failure. Also run a full scan with Windows Defender (under Programs).
