I may be a bit slow but I just noticed the drive scores that are at 5.9 are all partitioned...............HUMMMMMMMMMMMMM:huh:
May be a valid point there, TechyMike. I've been running Windows 7 x64 since the public beta was released and they run the WEI at a 7.9 high 'score.' (:D) My pc hits 5.9 because of my primary disk drive, although it's not partitioned. I have 3 other drives that ARE partitioned, though....
My ram rings the bell at 7.9. Intel Core i7 965 EE weighs in at 7.6. MS obviously left some room for over-clocking and faster cpu's coming out as the 965 EE was the fastest even before the beta release.
I think that may be what they're doing with hard drives, since apparently Vista was suposed to be run on hybrid drives (that never really took off). I haven't seen any scores higher than 5.9 on hard drives. I'm sure they're out there, I just haven't seen them.
