Ok, so WHY, when I have the speed, memory, and serious graphics card installed, is my graphics score a measly 3.9?? It was SLIGHTLY higher before my fresh install, but still. Am I not utilizing my card or system to its best ability? Not that you would know that...:) Why did they have to put that blasted rating there anyway? You just HAVE to try and beat your last best score...

Definitely sounds like you need the most update drivers. I get a 3.7 with my HD 3200...yours should be in the lower 5s or even maxed at 5.9. Check those drivers. Good luck.

I'm thinking it has something to do with the fact that even though I ran driver sweep, then installed CCC 9.11, the first driver I see is a generic. Can I uninstall it (without losing my monitor), then sweep drivers, and reinstall 9.11?? I assume thats the best way to go about it?

I never use driver sweep so I dont know. I would just unistall the CCC and all the ATI software you have installed. Go into the device manager and uninstall the display driver from windows.

Reboot...screen may appear funky.

Reinstall the CCC from ATI website...the program, HDMI stuff if applicable...and all necessary drivers.

Reboot as required.

Go into the CCC and make the setting for High Performance. Sometimes High Quality reduces the score...stupid I know but it did for me.

Run the WEI and see what happens.

Let us know.

DreemWarrior, for my money, stay clear of Driver Updating software and while I'm at it, Registry Cleaners ... they'll do more harm than good.

PS: DreemWarrior, how did youget on with DownloadStudio, Nero 7 etc.?

I bought my desktop around 18 months ago, it wasn't a custom build and I haven't upgraded it at all. Pretty happy with my score considering my 3 month old laptop has a WEI of 3.4.
wei.png

Scratch that, just retested my laptop and it is sitting on a 4.0.

Question: Is the Windows 7 scoring system the same? Because the family computer is sitting on a 3.3 and that seems pretty sad lol.
