Just updated by internet service.
I had up to 20 Mb/s Download and up to 5 Mb/s Upload before, but now it's 50 Mb/s Download and 2 Mb/s Upload for
half the price .
I just can't go over 50 GB of usage per month now when it use to be unlimited. I currently only average between 20 to 30 GB a month though. Luckily anything downloaded/uploaded between 12AM and 8AM does not count towards the usage.

Early morning. No one up and around. I should have a fantastic speed:
And yes! The fastest I have had a in while!
EDIT: WOW! I had never achieved an F+ before! I am convinced that that is a first! I have had F-, and F, but never F+! Victory dance!

We live right in the middle of nowhere. That doesn't help! But the countryside is nice. We get a mobile telephone signal towards the back of our house (very weak) but nothing at the front (and only on one provider - Vodafone - so we use Vodafone! (they have the best signal in the whole area))
So we do get a landline, but it is truly awful! But I don't know. We can actually download at 40kb/s, which is so much faster than dial up. What effect do your big numbers have? Are they just theoretical, or could you actually download at 1mb/s

Threason mine is higher is because when our Internet broke a BT guy came over and said that he was going to replace the Limiter at the Exchange box to a better one
So now someone else in out Estate has slower speeds - And we are only paying for 2MB/s speed
The further away you are from the Exchange box the slower the speeds
Maybe you should try Mobile Broadband
