Web Browser For Vista Extended Kernel

Have you tried an exe installer from Download Microsoft Edge Web Browser | Microsoft ? I would select the Windows 7 installer. Looks like they have Espanol.

it gives me an internet error, i am conected to the internet but it says that it has no internet connection

The online installer may not work with your default browser, and I cannot seem to find an official Microsoft link for an offline installer. You should probably post a question at MSFN, where members are actually running Vista with extended kernel. Here’s another recent post there (be sure to expand the quote). Good luck!

i dont have an MSFN account and creating one makes you wait for an email confirmation that never happens, i know because i did it twice with two different emails and nothing, the mail never arrieves. it seems that msfn is barely alive, you cannot create an account anymore.

I'm running Opera and I went to MSFN and filled in the new account form. As soon as I was done, it said it had sent a message to my e-mail account. I opened the latter and there was the message asking me to validate my e-mail address. Did that and I was done. Took about a minute for the whole thing. Of course I'm not using the extended kernel so, it could be that's where your issue lies. I'm using Home Premium x64 SP2.

I noticed in the referenced MSFN post, that person is using SP1, not SP2.

Ark_mage2180 is using global OS spoofing so Windows version reports as 6.1. Windows 7 only had one service pack. Sergiaws says Edge works without global OS spoofing.

I'm replying in the context that you're trying all this stuff from Vista. Win 11 has problems of it's own. Most people with Win 10 haven't switched and the number of people still using XP, Server and Win 7 exceed those using Win 11, based on an article I just read.

Verifacation email doesnt show up in Gmail or my own email.

I had to use a temp mail Ive tried resending, doesnt work. Ive tried my other email, doesnt work. can anyone help?

I just tried to register with a Hotmail address and never received the registration email. Resent a couple of times but nothing. Changed my address to a Gmail account and it worked immediately (although went to spam). Has the site been blacklisted by Microsoft? Do you need to configure an SPF rec...

I'm replying in the context that you're trying all this stuff from Vista. Win 11 has problems of it's own. Most people with Win 10 haven't switched and the number of people still using XP, Server and Win 7 exceed those using Win 11, based on an article I just read.

and? i didnt recieve the mail in the windows 11 client, windows 10 client (i still own my previous laptop), the windows vista client or outlook.com, but i recieve mails normally from other people/sites

no, the mail never arrieved despite clicking many times on "Resend email"
and about edge, nothing worked

I don't know what you tried in that link since it's quite comprehensive. Since it's for Win 10, I assumed you would try the instructions on your Win 10 system and, if successful, try it in the other OS's. For instance, do you have the Windows Mail App and did you try synchronizing to it?

There has been more discussion of Edge on page 140 of the Windows Vista Extended Kernel thread. Sergiaws now says he first installed Edge on a Windows 7 VM, then copied the folder to Vista. He has a higher reputation than others who have said that Edge works. (I’m not sure why anyone with Windows 7 would want to run Vista now.)

If you are still only interested in modern Chromium browsers that can be installed, then perhaps you should concentrate on Chrome.

I have windows 11, windows 10 and Vista, i didnt recieve the mail on the windows 11/10 client, Windows Mail on Vista or outlook.com(web client) i recieve all other mails from various sites, people and everithing, even the mails from here notifying me about your answer on all clients, but nothing from MSFN, as you can see the problem is with MSFN not sending the mail, since my mail clients work just fine, and as i said, i tried 3 times, one with a previous @gmail mail, and two times with my current @outlook mail.

Edge is my main web browser in my Win 11 machine and Win 10 Laptop, it has all the features i need and i just love it, thats why it is my main focus, but if i can install chrome, i will use it, remember that i am using slimjet which is chromium based, in fact (quick check) on chromium 101, if you download the offline installer from another OS (Win 7 or newer, since Vista or lower downloads only the one based on Chromium 50 no matter what you do) and it installs just fine
