Web Browser For Vista Extended Kernel

It's only for extended kernel...
Oh gotcha! When I saw it for MSFN, and asked if it was being compiled for x86, you had mentioned that you'd be creating such a build. Damn! Did not know it was only for KernelEx. Oh well!

I wonder if that was edited in after Saturday, because I wouldn't have asked then.

Well I have ArticFoxie's 360Chrome mod for now. But being on v86 of Chromium is a bit iffy. It works well though.

...i think Slimjet will do the same in some time, they backported chrome 50 on Vista and XP, it is likely that they will backport at least 1 version of chrome for Win 7 and 8.1
Slimjet 39.0 beta based on Chromium 110 has just appeared in Slimjet Version History, but no mention one way or the other about Windows 7 support? Of course 110 should work with the latest extended kernel anyway, but wither 3 might want to try it on Win 7 and Jody might want to try on 8.

I never heard of “Softexia,” but here is the official Slimjet Web Browser Download page (you may have to click “Show All Platforms”). Still no reports of anyone actually trying 39.0 beta on Windows 7 or 8, although 38.0.8 stable (based on Chromium 109) should certainly work.

An MSFN members says Slimjet 39.0 doesn’t run on Windows 7, which doesn’t surprise me. :(

I tried the 64 bit web installer and it says the processor entry point Set Process................................. could not be found in kernel32.dll. In the link you provided, someone responded 6 hours ago and provided what appears to be a procedure for correcting the situation. Not sure if he wants one to run everything from the command prompt.

I tried the 32 bit web installer and it says it can't start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. That's usually related to C++. I don't know which version is required. I have 10, 12 and 15 installed. It should install whichever version is required.
