Instead of "getting up" at 10PM today, I "got up" at 8:30PM because I actually fell asleep during the time when I normally just "rest my eyes." Until I noticed it was dark, I thought it was 8:30AM. I really do have to do something about this.
For some reason, I got no e-mail alerts from 4:30 until 8:30 (which is unusual) and I'm trying to figure out if that really didn't happen or somehow I missed them by checking the threads for messages in subscribed posts - what a pain! Am I missing a simpler verification methodology? Can we pull up a list of all posts in subscribed threads that occurred between certain times and sort them by thread in date/time order but with all posts for a specific thread grouped together regardless of time so we can just scroll through them and check?
The Raiders, eh? That's a football team, right?
JK, but I'm not into any sports (except martial arts and then only when I was competing myself in my teens). They never interested me - I was much too busy to devote time to that and I never learned to appreciate them even though their popularity (I wouldn't believe the cost of a ticket until somebody showed me a copy) suggests I'm missing something - but I don't miss them at all (except for my ability to participate myself anymore). The only reason I knew the World Series was playing (and I have no idea who's in it or if it's over or anything) was that it stopped a new CSI episode from airing and I didn't understand why until my wife told me.
And yesterday (forgot to mention) I learned how to post a click-on audio file picture from You Tube into the thread in a much simpler fashion without needing to use embedded code (which some don't provide) or just adding the link. It's simple now that i know, but it wasn't at all intuitive. It's much easier in EF.
I'm stuck on a thread and will need to post in the VIP Lounge for assistance later today (or tomorrow) - I've been ignoring it for a while but nobody else has responded and I don't feel right just abandoning it. It got more complex than I expected when I first replied. I'll do so shortly.
I also would like to award some of my newly enhanced rep value (it's now up to 122 - getting close to maxing out in probably a month or two or possibly less - not sure about the point of a value over 150 if we're capped there anyway), but it's more difficult than I expected when I spent a half hour or so just looking for worthy posts because it seems like it's always the same people answering (or a good post from someone not quite ready for the next badge as there aren't enough to justify on the basis of overall contribution yet) and while I'd especially like to reward my friends, I find that quite a few don't really reply to questions and problems very much but instead post a lot in Chillout or seem to just visit and comment from time-to-time but don't post much anywhere. But I'm sure I'm missing some (I mean, most by far are Gurus and have more posts than I do and they didn't get there by not answering) and I will just look harder or search for posts name-by-name if I have to until I can find justification - but I'm here a LOT and see most threads and new posts and rarely see some of those names (but I may be missing some due to time zone differences or the fact that there are some forums I don't visit as often as others since replies there require much research as my expertise in those areas isn't "off the top of my head"). In any event, I plan to dedicate time to this effort and perhap like John did with rep in VF, I too need to relax my standards a bit as well.
And I STILL need to finish mowing the lawn (but it's now a lot colder out and I don't care much for being cold and absolutely can't afford to get any type of respiratory infection given my condition).
So it should turn out to be a busy day/night/whatever. LOL!
