Wow. The only time my laptop ever got that hot was when I was running 5 different games at once to kill my battery.

Do you have an owners manual for that laptop? if not try googling it, and see if theres a section on removal.

That's clean, but you need to remove the copper piece. But doing so you will need to reset it with thermal compound.

I'm sure yours is like my acer in that removing the heatsink, you'll get lots of dust.

I'm now almost certain you are shutting down due to heat.

Thermal comkpound is a paste that goes on to the cpu and video card, so that thne heat gets properly removed from it to the copper cooler.

This video is the best I've seen on redoing it.

Though he puts the paste on weird.

If you can easioly remove your fan, do it. Else clean/suck/blow it out as good as you can.

I can suppose that the processor on my laptop too is under the heat sink.

I'd like to remove fan but I don't know how. If someone here, can give some detailed information on how to remove fan from Amilo Pro V3505 (overall the plastic cover). I will really appreciate it.

its 2 cores.

The best method is put a small blob in the center and let the heatsink squish it out.
You want a non-conductive paste like mx-2

Yes, botht the cpu and gpu are under the heat sink. .

I've looked, but can not find much on your computer.

I think if you remove the heat sink and copper grill, you can get the fan just fine, without removing it.

What's gpu ?

I removed the keyboard but I couldn't remove the black plastic under the keyboard all it's one piece (attached files)

Fan should be located on the left top.

On the back, I think I can remove the heat sink, but I saw that the fan is tightened by an inverted screw (look at previous photos also) and the plastic grid is on the fan. I can't imagine how to remove it.

I think you now need to undo the screws on the bottom of the laptop.

No, those are the screw holes for the keyboard.

Try the screws on the bottom of the laptop. By the ones you took out to open the panel

I removed the heat sink and I cleaned the dusty between the vents and the heat sink.

Now, I can run a bootable CD without troubles as I made a test: Full Test Diagnostic Tools during more than 3 hours. The results: all is OK. It tested, Ram Memory, optical disk (CD/DVD Rom), Lan network, modem, Hard Drive, processor.

This was positive things.

The cons, I can't remove the fan to clean it. I don't know exactely which screws were you telling me.

Black screen are always alive.

No more, shut offs as I told you before for now, as I could ran the Diagnostic Tool during 3 hours, you can imagine, it's like a miracle ! lol :D

The white dots are the screws that I removed.
