Diagnostic Tool boot Cd failed to run: I mean, again my laptop shut down after 3minutes. I tried a few times with the same result.

I tried LUbuntu Live Cd, no crashes and Ubuntu Live Cd, no crashes.

If you can't boot from CD, try booting from USB.

Use that to install ubuntu.

Its fine, I thought that you couldn't use your CD/DVD drive so I was offering a USB version of Ubuntu. I didn't know whether or not you had a USB.

I don't have a USB key.

Bootable CD are working but my laptop shut down unexpectedly. The only except bootable CD that it's going well with no shut down is with Ubuntu CD.

I could run the quick test with Fujitsu Diagnostic Tool, it doesn't detect anything wrong.

When running the full test, my laptop crashed again.

Saddly your computer is old and not worth fixing.

I've found working motherboards on ebay uk for 70 pounds, but thats pricey to me.

Hmm. Have you tried taking out the hard drive and running the diagnostic?
Or only 1 stick of ram?

Yes to both questions.

Removing the hard drive dioesn't make a difference. the computer will not obviouslly start windows, and just give an error message.

If the hard drive is messing things, this would fix the errors..

Yes, only 1 ram stick.. Since we can not test it, its a good next step.

Too late , I already removed the HDD and ran Fujistsu Diagnostic Tool and I got a new shut down again.

I did this test with the 2 sticks.

I will do it again with one stick and then, the other one, I will let you know.

Have you ever ran a temperature monitor program?

Use hwmonitor and run it to see how hot it gets.
CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

Jujst unzip it and run the hwmonitor program. No install needed.
