Lookin' good Smurfyy, and you still have room in that case to add more 'stuff'. What is coming next? I don't know for sure but maybe a set of wheels to move it around....must be beastly heavy. Pretty nice with the cathode tube light.
Thanks for sharing.

To add to that, Ive just installed 3 Hitachi Ultrastar 147GB 15,000RPM drives in the cage, just waiting for the last one, then ill be ready to go ;)

Got the RAID card, and SAS cable *i think thats what it is* so yeah, all systems go when i get the last drive, ill have around just under 1TB when im done ;)

Also, need to work out a better way of putting the drive cage in the 3 5 1/4 bays, supposed to fit in flush, but there about a centimetre gap around the edge...:sarc:

EDIT;
Previous post, this thing will weigh loads when i put the RAID cage in, lol ;)

I'm running three 'rigs' right now just for the fun of it. Vista Ultimate SP2 in each one of course. The latest one started here with stuff from the Egg.
015copy.jpg

Took all the covers off to make it easy to work on.
023copy.jpg

Put all the parts in...Eureka, they fit!!!...... Note* Need another 5770
007.jpg

Performed some cable management behind the scenes.
002.jpg

The finished product at the workspace.
011.jpg

CPU-ZValidator.jpg

Another Rig
The case is an ULTRA m998 a real 'tank' with lots of room and a slide out mobo tray.
DSC_0006.jpg

The parts are in with room to spare. It was long after the build I figured out how to use the 'Power Bar' for cable management. The manual provided no instructions for this feature. Someday I'll take it down and fix all the cables. Gotta replace that IDE stuff with SATA for sure.
DSC_0007_edited-2-1.jpg

ULTRAAsusM3A78-T.jpg

The third rig started life as an eMachine 6542 and got me hooked on AM2 and AMD. Great machine and I loved the shape of this case so I decided to 'fix it'.
DSC_0016_edited-1.jpg

The case is small and putting all this stuff in here is like putting 10 pounds of s#@* in a 5 pound bag....it don't fit! Need a full modular PSU and more fans. Runs great with the side cover off and a big a$$ box fan blowin' in it. *Note to self: I must get rid of the IDE stuff!
DSC_0008_edited-1.jpg

Well that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

LOL! You all have such tidy desks! Mine is stacked up and up and up. Eventually it gets to the point where it is really difficult to see the monitors. It is stacked up on the Printer and Scanner, and then it landslides on top of the keyboard, and puts in a row of Ls! Then I have to go and find that battery on charge, or a sheet of paper! You lot just have a mouse and mouse mat! I do too, though the mouse mat is currently a bit encroached with stuff!

Give me 3 minutes alone with your desk and I'll fix it for ya.:roflmao:one quarter stick and boooooom! all fixed.

:roflmao:

Pictures? It is not in its worst state at the moment. I had to clear it up about a month ago. Leave me for a month, and then you will get pictures!

My desk is kind of cluttered at times as well.

I'll post some pic's later today.
