Here is the finished product :D it was quite hard fitting a tower CPU cooler with the side fan together but I have now gotten around all the problems.

as some of you may have noticed, i was selling my setup ( mobo, cpu and ram), here's an updated pic of the new gear, i7 920 rig, corsair dominator ddr3 1600mhz, evga gtx295 and asus rampage II extreme x58..see specs for more detailed info

Yeah, the RAM coolers help plenty, especially since I have the fan from a hard disk bay directly opposite blowing onto the coolers (you can't see the drive bay on the photo). Two memory slots are open because memory in South Africa is horribly expensive, and I haven't been able to afford the extra 4GB I want to put in.

As for the dust, if I was to worry about it, I'd end up cleaning every week - it's just the area I live in.

Jaysus Mary mother of god, this is by far my best build yet man, very proud of it, and its stable as heck!

plus the 3 main components that i bought, are basically a trade off, of my older x48 gear ( mobo,cpu,ram), i already sold my qx9770 for $600, the asus rampage formula has 2 bids already @$172, and the ocz reaper ram has 13 bids and is @ $86, more than what i expected to get out of the ram actually, the rampage 2 extreme and 6gb ddr3 corsair dominiators and teh i7 920, came out to a total of $890 NEW on newegg, so i may lose a few bucks like $20-$40 or so once i sell my old gear.. im just glad i broke even basically and got a pretty much up to date system

How come you don't have your card in the primary PCI-E slot?
