you are better off getting a ATI 4890 Im guessing you only have a 19in monitor max 22in this will be cheaper and better for what you want. alternatively the GTX260 is alright too, but it also depends on your PSU and things like that, can your PSU take it? you need to find this out, Nvidia tends to be more power hungry than ATI mostly because they havent changed the GPU (graphics processing unit-like the CPU but in the graphics card) in so long, so when ATI downscaled the architecture, it now runs just as fast with less heat and less current required than Nvidia.
Also depends what games you are wanting to run too, in what level of detail for your monitor resolution and what frame rates you want to get out of this. Ask me some more questions and I'd be only too happy to reply

Ok go for an 800 watt to be sure, you shouldnt need more than that.\
Any 750 or 800 watt will do, a good brand is better to get though, corsair, antec, something reputable the better. the one u mentioned will be fine

A 260 is enough for 1680x1050 resolution. However, why not get a GTX 275? Its newer and faster than the 260 and you can probably enable AA and AF with it too.
