Before you download, what is that 2006 date? The date that you have all the date of the download. 2006 is not going to help us, if its the download date. If its the dowload date, we will do this differently.

The date of the downloaded driver, cannot be 06. Go back and just click on global, it will update your system. If you get another BSOD, I will check the dates and make other suggestions if needed.
Make a system restore point first, just in case.

OK Im at a disadvantage, With the information that you gave me about your computer P5ND etc. We put the information in. Then because of the bad URL, you input the information, assuming that the information is correct, I do not know what would cause that problem.
Lets try this and see if it helps the BSODS.
Navitgate to
C-->Windows-->System 32-->drivers.
When you see ascapi.sys, change the sys to .bup.
Effectively that will stop the Ascapi from causing the BSODS if that were the cause (even if its not the cause this time, it is well known to cause BSODs).
Then, also, make sure that your Windows update is set to download new drivers. It may download a new driver, because it will know that ascapi.sys is gone.
Even if it does not, we should keep the settings until we find the cause of the BSODs. If BSODs never happen again, the cause was Asacpi.

Forget Device Manager, for now. Do it the way I gave above.
