Hello all!

Since I added the PSU and V. Card I've had a situation I can't resolve.
Five minutes after the screen saver starts The HDD is "turned off"???
No matter what I try, I've had it set to "never" to its current 5000 Minutes.
I've tried several different power plans, all with no joy!
The only way to resolve it is with a hard shutdown (unplug)!
I never had this problem with any of the installs; just after the hardware additions.

Any suggestions?

I saw no sleep option at all in the BIOS for the HDD. I did go to the second page!

Oh boy... I think I would rather live the rest of my life without a screen saver!

hehehe... ;)

I'm planning a re-install soon, so I'll probably wait to see if that resolves it.

I just thought it would be something I didn't know about (like the BIOS)
should this one have that option? and why not?

When I copy/paste "powercfg" into "Start Search" or "Run" the command window
only briefly flashes and is gone.
I don't know where to go from here... :o

Kid - in your picture where it says "Show additional plans" click the caret pointing downwards to show the hidden plan - I suspect this is set up by your manufacturer so people don't try to mess with it...
