Hi amplid,
There are several reasons why your score is low. The first is the amount of memory in your machine. If you increase it to 2GB you should find that the subscore for your RAM should go up, although probably not by very much. As you have a 64-bit version of Vista, I would recommend that you increase this still further, to 4GB (or more, if your motherboard supports it). Where it will have an impact is with your graphics. Vista appears to allocate a memory space for graphics that is equivalent to half your RAM. This includes the amount of memory on the graphics card itself, so for a system that has a total RAM of 1GB (1024MB) and a graphics card with 256MB of on-board RAM that equates to a shared system memory of (1024/2)-256=256MB. The total graphics memory is therefore 512MB. The shared memory supplements the graphics memory, and is only used when required. Another limiting factor is your driver. You are using version 163.69. The current WHQL version is 169.25. Finally, your graphics card itself. This is quite an old model, and is in itself dragging your score down. To improve your score, I recommend that you replace your graphics card. My current card is a 7600GT and this, together with the 2GB of RAM that I have installed, gives me the figures in my previous post. Note that your score will not increase above 4.5 as that is the lowest score apart from your graphics scores. The only way to increase this would be to upgrade your processor.
