Whats your internet speed?

I think someone may have upgraded my 2 MB connection HeHe :party::party:

But seriously anyone on the standard UK Virgin Media 2Mb connection with a separate modem (not in STB) should register for the free upgrade asap before the word gets out - if you do not register you will be automatically, upgraded hopefully by the end of the year. I registered yesterday and had the upgrade today so it does pay to make the effort :D

I'm currently in Shanghai and wanted to test the hotel's connection
Speedtest recommends Seoul server, but tried first Shanghai's one

ping 261ms, DL 0.14, UL 0.61 (did not save the result's picture)

then tried recommended server in Seoul

ping 775ms, and nothing else - waited 3-4 minutes before giving up...

tested both wired and wifi

I want to go back home...

Wow, you guys have a very fast internet connection speed. I think mine was the slowest. My ISP is Smart Broadband in the Philippines, here's a screen shot of my speed test results:

So if you're planning to migrate to the Philippines, stay away from Smart Bro. I have a comprehensive review of it in my blog:

I'm used to it. I also download some files from the internet and it will take me a month to complete the download. Hehe.

I only browse the web and login the Gtalk sometimes. That speed was enough for me. I think If I'll migrate to the US, I will really be amazed of how fast the internet speed was if compared to the Philippines. :D
