The reason for better ping and speeds is because the first mirror (Brisbane) is connected through regular cables to me however a huge fibre cable runs down the east coast of Australia so using the Sydney mirror is faster for me...

I've hit at 190457 before using this test, it all depends on the time of day, the server load and the network traffic your ISP is currently handling of course. In fact I ran it 4 times just in the last 10 minutes and ranged from 12467 to the above for d'load.

mine goes from 55000 to the above in DL, and 1800 to the above in UL :huh:
