What GPU's run Crysis in the highest detail?

Well I run a EVGA 9800GTX+ and I had purchased it on sale at future shop for around 140$CAD. It runs crysis on very high flawlessly. I <3 it. It was a great purchase for the price.

i got the card for less than $100 from a big part store in the city next to me,, he's a little Asian fellow and has great stuff cheap cuz he keeps a huge stock and goes threw parts like crazy , he made a fortune,,,,, place is called ACR Computer's in Waterbury Conneticut USA he keeps loads of Motherboards Ram ,processors of all kinds and varieties tel : # is 1(203)754-9688 i highly recommend him
i live near about 6 big PC parts stores and dealers and this guys undercuts everyone by alot i paid around $75 for that card but,it was a 9500 gt w/1 gb ddr2 ram the card moves and if i had the extra $$,,, i would have put 2 in i love the MSI MB's even got a 19 inch acer lcd widescreen for under $100 with a 3 year warrenty i was building a whole pc and got everything minus a keyboard for less than $600 with a full OEM copy of Vista Ultimate i did some searching and this guys is fu@kin awesome
and guarantees his work 100% i now you are ovver see but make sure you shop around theres alot of places that are hurting here in the USA and you could get a hell of a deal on parts and upgrades cheap
my next up grad willbe a matching pciex 9500gt band a quad core Phenom in the biggest speed they got and i wont spend over $200 MAKE SURE YOU SHOP

I JUST SENT A FRIEND OF MINE THE PARTS EXCEPT THE CASE FOR LESS THAN $22 SHIPPING WITH hdd ,mb pciexSPRESS 4 STICKS RAM AT 2 GIGS EACH on a amd dual 6600+ w/h link total cost of pc parts was less than about $500
sorry to chew your ear off just wanted to let you know to shop and tune in to the radio MFE radio a majorbits.com/oh

ps i hjad a ati pciexspress 1300 pro on a amd 3500+ single w/hyperlnk and it still playd most games got, difficult around the time assassions creed that was a good card i like the Catalyst control panel much better than nvidia's

Well. It seems a lot of the 9800 GTX+ are dissapearing from the shelves on Ebuyer.com

What should I choose from the list?

Cheap Laptops, Hard Drives, LCD Monitors, TVs and more at Ebuyer

this one seemed pretty convincing.

Zotac 9800GTX+ AMP! Edition 512MB DDR3 Dual DVI HDTV Out PhysX and Cuda ready PCI-E Graphics Card - Ebuyer

is this brand of the card good though? Zotac that is!

No, stay away from the least known manufacturers (ex. Zotac) I would go for EVGA since I own that exact product and they offer great services. This is my final offer lmao

I think I know what Im getting... I did some more browsing.

HD-485X-YDDC - 512MB XFX HD 4850 XXX, PCI-E 2.0 (x16), 2100MHz GDDR3, GPU 650MHz, 800 Cores, 2x DLDVI-I/ HDTV, HDCP - Scan.co.uk

look at this card - look at the price, then scroll down to the specs - leave it there, then do the same with this card.

HD-487A-YDFC - 512MB XFX HD 4870, PCI-E 2.0 (x16), 3600MHz GDDR5, GPU 750MHz, 800 Cores, 2x DL DVI-I/ HDTV, HDCP - Scan.co.uk

I just cant believe the 4870 is at that price - the spec change is PHENOMENAL.
________________

if this topic ever comes to an end - I think so far... the 4870 has my final vote at that price.

Scan are SUPERB!!

yep the 4870 is a sweet card, at a pretty good price...

but if you just waited another week & added 40 quid, you could become the proud owner of this....:D

XFX GTX260 216 ''B.E''

arguably the best 260 out there, with one of the best customer support packages too... (i have this card & it chews up & spits out EVERYTHING i throw at it :p)

Believe it or not, i was looking on EVGA at the 9800's and 200's. some of the 260's were coming out cheaper than some of the 9800+'s.

Really didnt see what the difference was... surely if the 260 is that hyped it would be more expensive than the 9800+ regardless.

even still - if the 260 is supposed to be seriously good. how comes the GX2 is A LOT more?

b/c the GX2 has a much higher build cost.....;)

the GX2 will out perform a 260..... but the 260 has better architecture & handles AA much better at a higher res...

the 9800GTX+ CANNOT compete with the GTX260, it has a 55nm G92 core, the 65nm GT200 is still FAR more efficient.

with the GX2 your paying for 2 cards, so the 260 GTX is quite good for a single GPU.
