Vista ISO download

I'm on Window 7 64 but I want to do a full clean Vista 64 install. I downloaded the 3 setup files in post #1 and used the .exe to extract the files and am ready to create a bootable iso disc but I'm trying to figure out how and what I can use to make the bootable iso disc. Some of the freeware that post links to only allows you to create an iso to a certain number of MBs. That's where I'm currently stuck.

This is a good tutorial using The Official ImgBurn Website

I would also greatly appreciate a PM with the link to the newest Home Premium x64 iso. I bought an old laptop with a corrupt install of Win 7 Ultimate and would like to install the OS it came with.

Hi Ex_Brit...
I am in a quandary. I just lost my mb /processor due to a fan malfunction so Installed a new one...upgraded.
Now my OEM Vista 64 home prem. on perfectly good Hard-drive can't boot. The RESCUE backup disks don't work. Now I find that this is because they are TIED to the original MB /CPU specs. I Paid for my Vista 64 home premium through the OEM of my machine - and made proper rescue disks - But without an original Disk the Rescue disks and Boot repair disks are useless. I need an ISO apparently. I have looked everywhere and can't see paying the $$$ for a brand new boxed OS. I also have Win7 64. But there are some things that only work on Vista...and I really want it back. If you wish to e-mail me directly and you have a way to get an ISO .... I would be very grateful.

I already have ISO burning tools and Waik if i need it. I also have the ei removal tool so that i can choose the proper version from an ISO during install if need be.
I am UNCERTAIN if i need the SP2 but I am fairly sure i had all the SPs when the MB died.
Even without SP would be fine... i don't mind downloading updates which i am legally allowed to do.

My e-mail is- sitechalker a t hush dt com - I can provide my Product Key if you need it. I have no interest save for my personal legal USE. I sit here looking at my perfectly INTACT hard-drive with VISTA installed on it... and it's useless. If I Format this drive... I will NO LONGER have proof of my original installation to do Upgrades. (my win 7 is an upgrade from this) I appreciate greatly if you might be able to help. Sorry I can't seem to PM you. This site won't let me?

Can you post your email address munged of course - use AT and DOT so BOTS don't pick it up. Your license key decides which version is installed and I don't need that nor can I provide one. Private Messaging is turned off until you've made a certain number of posts.
When going to activate it will probably fail and you will have to opt for the phone method. That usually automatically works and if you need to talk to a person just explain your M/B burned out. Hopefully they will allow that.

Sitechalker, I just realised you posted your email already...you can try a new Vista SP2 installation and you may have to do a phone activation and plead with them that your motherboard failed...I can't guarantee it will be OK, but certainly give it a try.

Email sent. Sorry - blame my bad eyesight.

Thank you so much Peter - Ex_Brit.... Exactly what i needed. Strange how difficult it is to find a simple ISO
of something I already paid for and have a license for. I needed Vista home prem 64 and got the link from you just fine..
Yes - I have my own valid - purchased - License key for the product. In fact, I called Microsoft first. Was on the phone w them for at least 10 minutes. They would not help me with an iso or a DVD. Ebay or Amazon has DVD's for 100$ and UP.
MS sure won't argue with you if you want to buy a license! (You can pay them anytime... But just be prepared to bring your own ISO!)
Thank you! Very much. I also e-mailed you another Thank you from my private mail.

.....Can you post your email address munged of course - use AT and DOT so BOTS don't pick it up. Your license key decides .........

All my stickers on bottom of computer are worn and unreadable, which is very unfortunate. I just registered to join this forum to get help on my other laptop. It appears the OS (Vista Home Edition SP2) crashed. This happened in 2010, but just now trying to fix it again. It won't boot up at all, I forgot admin password, and I have no Vista disk to put in. My day cannot get any worse.
