I would do some research on that make and model of machine to see if it came with 64-bit architecture, and if so use the 64-bit one as it's more secure.

Done, but you need to do some research to see if your make/model of machine will take 64-bit....would save you time instead of waiting for an install to fail.

Great, thanks, the machine can take 64-bit.

Downloading with Firefox, Firefox is preventing the Mega Add-on being installed as unverified, so I can't download.

Is there a direct link or do I have to install the add-on? If I have to install it, how can I override Firefox security and is it safe to do so?

Also, is there an MD5 or SHA hash to verify with?

No they're genuine I assure you. Early in the thread someone went to all the trouble of telling me what they were but afraid I forgot what it was.

Ok thanks, really appreciate it. I have every confidence in the integrity of the files at source, it's just I believe my machine may be infected hence wanting to verify what I download is what arrives!

I searched the thread and found the SHA1 hash you mentioned, which is great for the 64-bit version. Maybe I can get one from Technet (MSDN) for the 32-bit version.

That just leaves me with the Mega Add-on to install for Firefox, which, if Firefox won't allow, then I may have to download and use the MegaSync.exe download manager: I am a little reluctant, but I suppose I can uninstall and cleanup any adware should there be any, once the iso is downloaded.
