The message from MS implies the the CD/ DVD is damaged in some way. This could be a manufacturing flaw or just a damaged surface.
There must have been an issue & be a bad batch or they have got damaged somehow?

If the issue is with the media (DVD/ CD) you are trying to format the are no changes to you system that will enable you to successfully complete a format.
So, are you still using the same DVD's etc you mensioned in the other post?
