Yea they're great. Made a huge difference when I upgraded to these. Even though they're only 2.1, still got a great sound.

At the time I built this, it was running XP then I upgraded to Vista and a few of the internals changed. It's a decent system and small enough for my small room with very limited space. It runs pretty cool with the stock heatsink.

Isn't the X230 a 2.1 system? I have the X530 . They are great speakers and sound so much better than my car setup for now.

Ah yea, didn't see your central speaker at the top there. Still the same style speakers though.

Enough space? I like that's kinda compact (not wide) but is still high enough to store my crap

I have plenty of space to do some paperwork in front of the monitor. Fits nicely in the corner. I have the printer on the bottom shelve now, and moved the computer where the printer use to be. I also setup my mini stereo on the same shelve.

Thanks for that. Yeah, I like that it fits in the corner. It's a good design

ok yes the x-530's are good...... but the x-540's are better

And my Z-5500's are even better.
