I like, and as far as hardware goes, it takes alot to inpress me. Well done mate nice system.

Cheers m8. This is my biggest upgrade to date and the one that will probably last me the longest. Really impressed with the processor performance and going from an nVidia 6800GT to an ATI HD3850 has given me the biggest performance boost I could imagine.

Some great rigs in here. I never realised how popular the Antec 900 was

The antec now have a 1200. :party::party::party:

As for cable management, I used the sides of the hd enclosures to route the cables using tie wraps.

1200 has been out for a while buddy.. it's a great case but just a little costly.

I'd love to have it. But it's been around a while.

and the 900 is a great case also, it's one of the most popular and most purchased Case off of Newegg.com and Amazon both..

yup yup, Antec makes great cases.. but I sure like my CM690. it's not as pleasing to the eye.. but it's what's on the inside that counts, Cable management, Tooless design, Screw holders screwed into the Chassis, never look for screws again.. and comes ready with holes for H20..

Gunther congrats on the new card mate! That is great, first one I see in the forum act...:sarc:
Still loove your case!!

P.S.: Are you happy with that PSU, I'm thinking about buying a Corsair 650W, but I've heard the 12V ATX cables are a wee bit too short for the CM690...?

Ya that PSU is doing great.. it was even holding it's own on the GTX280 for a little while that I had it.. It's one of the best brands you can get.. If I was you I'd pay the slight bit more and get the HX series so either like mine the HX520.. or get the HX620 to cover ur @$$ a little more for Futureproof.. I wish I woulda got that one now. it was only 25 bucks more..

Thanks.. ya the card is great.. workin better than I thought. currently overclocked above the speeds of the 280. :)

Well the 280 would be straining it.. but I think this is actually workin ok.. plus Corsair is known for underrating there PSU's by a good 50 or more Watts.. so realistically it's more like a 580 or so.. The recommended PSU for this card is 500.. but then again the recommended watts for my old 8600 was 350W and I ran that fine on a 250W back with my old HP crapper.. but then again this card is a lot different than a 8600.. lol but you get my point..

Oh and corsair is one of the best in the business.. and it has a 5 Year warranty (Unlike any other PSU brand).. so I'm covered. :)

thanks for lookin out tho

I have to admit upgrading to my dual 22"s makes me feel a lot better - and there is a boatload less heat in the room (dual 19" hi-res CRTs were stifling me during the daytime....

the duals are really handy when you need alot of screen real estate. had the same dilemma, between the stacker and the cosmos, but in the end the stacker did it for me. As for 7G its just a brand i created for my design work xguntherc. :)

Ya well maybe as they continue to get cheaper and cheaper I will get another 22 and be happy with 2.. or i could get another 19. so I have 19 22 19. but I'd rather just have Dual 22's. as three screens would be a little to extreme.
thats cool, its your company huh.. Not bad not bad.. well good luck then with that.
