Boot partition is on the third partition, that means from WinDows Installation disk it will be visible as E!

so the whole proper procedure for you will be folowing

1.Download attached to post 18 Packs.zip file -in zip file is packed Packs folder -you have to unpack it and place directly on D: -the same partition where is Windows folder! exactly as I show below:

Click this bar to view the full image.

2.Boot Vista DVD (if you don't have Vista DVD instead use special recovery disk from this site:Download: Windows Vista x64 Recovery Disc — The NeoSmart Files
Choose language>>Repair Computer>>WinRE>>command prompt

and type:

robocopy E:\Packs E:\ /E /IS

press ENTER

reg load HKLM\REM_COMPONENTS E:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS

press ENTER

reg load HKLM\REM_SOFTWARE E:\Windows\System32\config\SOFTWARE

press ENTER

reg import E:\Packs\Fix.reg

press ENTER

del E:\Windows\Logs\CBS\*

press ENTER

Next back to your system and please Install service pack from Microsoft Download Center

Additional clarification for above

Place Packs folder on the same partition where is Windows folder! - for you it will D:\ from your system level!

My Computer

Do you have any problems? -then post here...

Remember:

your OS see partition where is Windows folder as D:\
your installation disk (WinRE) see the same partition as E:\

Good luck ;)!

PS.

Post here if you have additional questions:....

My Computer

i dowlnloaded packs.zip i unpacked it and place directly on D:...i hope i done it right! and i hope that this pack it's good because i saw that it is from www.vistax64 or something

i downloaded Windows Recovery Disk.iso x32 from the link you gave me and it is a Winrar file of 120 mb.
in imgburn i selected that Winrar file because i couldn't select the unpacked version(hope it's right that way) and i burned it to CD.

now when i boot from CD i Choosed Language>>Repair Computer but then only appears a window(System Recovery Options) where just 2 Microsoft Windows Vista are shown: from D: and from C:(i suppose that here it has to appear also WinRE but it does'nt...or where is it?)
and there it says

"Select an operating system to repair and click Next.Only Windows operating systems are listed and can be repaired.
If you do not see your operating system listed, click Load Drivers for your hard disks"

I choosed Load Drivers and then appeared window(Add Drivers) and it says:
"Insert the installation media for the device and click OK to select the driver"

When i click OK it appears a window where i can select to look in
Recent places
System
and Computer

In this window i can find WinRE(F:) in System or Computer and WinRE(F:) subfolders are

repair boot
fonts FSFACTORY
sources tmp

so where to find Command Prompt?;if i try to open those subfolders from WinRE(F:) it says that are no items to match

I finded Command Prompt only when i clicked Microsoft Windows Vista D:(i didn't clicked C:) and then it appears a window with some options and there is Command Prompt

So what should i do?!

Edit to your last post...
Yo are booting System Recovery built-in your computer not DVD!
You have to set in BIOS proper boot option!.Set boot order CD-ROM,C,A

(check also your computer manual how to set boot order)

My Computer

i tried to install sp1 again but i get the same 0x80070002 error

i ran Readiness Tool again and here is new checksur.log

View attachment CheckSUR.log

and i think that my laptop boots however from DVD because i have this option right after Fujitsu-Siemens logo appear it is displayed "press any key to boot from CD or DVD"

In my BIOS i have two options with CD in boot options
USB CDROM and IDE CD
and now first option is USB CD

But i don't know if i burned right the Windows Vista Recovery Disc downloaded from link you gave me.
On the disk i have 3 files

boot type:file folder 3,27mb
sources type:file folder 116mb
bootmgr type: folder 324kb

tell me if the disk is allright if you can and what's the next move?!

t made no sense, you have to do that after implementing fix _of course log is the same as before because you did nothing.

OK.If have inserted DVD,and DVD is bootable it should work...

USB CDROM and IDE CD

choose IDE CD

It tell me nothing. You must realize recognizing which DVD is bootable or not it's very sophisticated theory...out of theory, there is old one very easy way to verify
trying too boot DVD into computer ,(where you are absolutely sure this computer work fine)

My Computer

i am getting tired already:huh: maybe you too,i'm sorry

i setted my boot option in BIOS to IDE CD and i tried both with Vista Recovery Disc and with my Vista ultimate DVD but same thing.
After i Choose Language>>Repair Computer i get same window(System Recovery Option) with just
D: (data) and
C: (system)

Does it matter if it's a CD or DVD because i burned Vista Recovery Disc to CD...that's how it said on the site - to burn to CD

Should i go to D: or C: because there i can find Command Prompt and if yes - where -to D: or C:?

With Readiness Tool i dont't understand because you send me earlier this message which i don't see it anymore here on forum but i have it in my email

"The most important is you can now install Vista SP1 standalone version from this site: Download details: Windows Vista Service Pack 1 All Language Standalone (KB936330) (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=F559842A-9C9B-4579-B64A-09146A0BA746&displaylang=en)

(not from Windows Update),if not - run Readiness Tool again and attache new CheckSur.log to post - I want to see what you did..."

So what should i do first in order to send to you CheckSUR.log - try to install sp1 again and after that to run Readiness Tool or other way around?

Ask for help someone who knows at least the basics of use of computers.I'm tired too...

It make no difference it's CD-ROM or DVD.

First you must know how look Installation disk or recovery disk from neowin http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/194765-system-recovery-options.html

It's less important. If you will do my fix it should repair at least majority issues and standalove version should work now.To do that quicker you can ignore this step with running Readiness Tool and install SP1 at once without loosing time -it will be better.Post only new CheckSur.log if installation still fail.

i mean i can't find WinRE

can i try to see if these disks with Windows Vista are bootable on a computer with XP?

My Computer

See his CheckSur.log from post 17 and 18 -there are damages in WinSxS and CBS and without fixing them you will never install service pack on this computer...

besides:

1. On the "Start" menu, click "Run:.
2. In the "Open" box, type "msiexec /unreg", and then press ENTER.
3. On the "Start" menu, click "Run".
4. In the "Open" box, type "msiexec /regserver", and then press ENTER.
these switchers not working any more on Vista
7. Type the following commands. Press ENTER after each command.
a. proxycfg -d
This also doesn't exist on Vista -instead exist command "netsh winhttp reset proxy"
