The US MInt has spent our tax dollars creating 4 pennies that are to commemorate the 200Th Birthday of Lincoln. This is a creation of 4 pennies that the US Mint is selling for $25. Let me think about this spend $25 for $0.04 in a recession. Not a good idea!

I cancelled my sat-TV the day after the election to preserve my sanity; so excuse me if I am a little behind. ...'Suppose it is better than the bust of B.O. to Commemorate his divine enthronement :confused: <those would probably be $25 apiece>

I used to take a copper penny and use it with a cartridge nailer to set boards to concrete. Made a good reinforcement and a solid nail set. When I built the last house a few years back I found that every time I tried it, the "PENNY" just blew up! After examining the fragments I found that the copper penny was now copper plated pot-metal :sa:

Of course I was not aware of that either; but I am sure there was little fanfare of that rape of the public currency either!
