I honestly feel that the whole world is just happy that Bush is out. There was not much to decide on in this election. Obama was clearly the better speaker and promised what the people wanted to hear. I really hope nobody minds if I add a few words here.
I can't recall ever seeing the world so involved and celebrating over the US doing anything as much as this election. I am a US veteran and it is sad to say how our Country has acted in the presence of other nations and people. Everyone seams to hate the US yet when things get bad they all ask for a hand out. The world blames the US for the economic recession. Let's face it when the US sneezes the world gets a cold. I often wonder what the world would be like if the US decided back in 1861 to simply keep to it's own boarders and leave the rest of the world to tend for itself? Would the wars that go on daily globally be there or would those people simply be gone? With out the US to point a finger at who would the rest of the world point at to blame for things?
This new age of the US can be seen by the latest move that demonstrates exactly how the US should have handled things for a very long time. Quoted from BBC news "Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov has welcomed the US promise to "re-set the button" in their relationship as a "very positive" move." I myself and proud to be called an American again and wish that this new Administration keeps up the great work. Look at the strong arm procedures that they have implemented on the way Wall Street has to be conducted. What do you all feel like about the "Change" that has taken place?

Personally i very much dislike what happened in the election
Obama said what he would do if he was elected and is doing it this is for all those people who didn't believe him and still voted for him...... WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!!!!!! you have just elected a man who wants control of everything we do and say, who says we should conserve energy so he can burn it all at the white house, and he thinks free speech is only free when it agrees with what he believe. again...... WHAT WERE YOU ALL THINKING?!!!

Obama may be a good speaker BUT saying you are going to do something is a helluva lot easier than doing it as we all see. A few of his MAJOR points and ideas in the election have already been flushed down the drain, not to mention some of the stuff that Obama has already started to do.(The end of the trial for the guy who planned the USS Cole attack? What the ****?)

Personally, I think we will be worse off in the next year or two than we were at all these last 4-8 years.

i dont know about anybody else, but i believe the main reason obama got elected is because of >>>This<<< statement yes, McCain even trying to announce running for presidency was his downfall.

Ever wonder why his probable mentor, "Franklin Delano Roosevelt" was referred to by his whole name, while our good President is just, "Osama Obama"?
Or, maybe "Hussein" a just a sillier name in America than "Delano"?

Well with everything else all I can say is Here in California we are planning on grabbing both ankles and gets some thermal lube as they are getting ready to jam it you know where for raising taxes and fees. Man do I miss Texas! Spent most of my life there but then had to accept the job here to support my family. Don't get me wrong, at least I still have a job and my family is happy and healthy. With a 9 month old and a 3 1/2 year old along with a wife that does not work, it is pretty tight. Why is it that the big companies squander so much money then get our tax dollars after they mess up? Why is it that the Gov't will downsize the defense of our country then pass huge pay raises for them selves? Cut Billions on education and health care? Yet spend a Trillion on war in another country! Good ole Uncle Sam should be listed as one of those sex offenders for raping the country of the USA! OHHHHHHH am I ranting yet?
