Printer installation problems

I was hoping sfc would repair them all. It's a wireless printer is it?
I would try these.

After taking ownership and deleting the file spoolsv

You can then try the following steps,
Right click on start --- Left click on explore ---- Go to i386 folder from C
drive --- search for the file spoolsv --- Copy the file spoolsv and paste in
C:\windows\system32.

I activated the mobile wireless devices and I am still not able to use the set-up cd. Yes it is a wireless printer. My son set up a wireless printer from his laptop and I was able to access his printer through my PC. He moved out and I thought I would be able to do the same from my PC. This spooler problem is a ghost I haven't been able to exorcise since it started. I imagine if he set up my printer from his laptop on my network I should be able to use the printer. Yet the problem with my PC will remain.

You can try the following steps:

I tried to do that however I could not locate the i386 folder to copy from. The C:/windows/system32. Has a spoolsv file in it however it may be corrupt.

Ok this is a copy un zip first.

The file you have that is corrupt you can take ownership of and delete.
Then take ownership of the file in the zip folder and replace the deleted one in system32
I left a link to a registry file that will add take ownership to the right click menu in an earlier post.

can anyone send me a clean copy of their spoolsv.exe file. I have been working on resolving this issue for 2 days and have tried many tips to fix. especially from the following thread....

the only thing I haven't done is replace the corrupted spools file. Please help

I sent you one, you have to save it to your computer, then right click and unzip it,it is there in the zip folder.
