Hi Joan

Ah lovely Nigel, boy or girl ?

She's a little princess, except a 3AM ( she just came into season for the first time over Christmas). Apart from that she's a very welcome addition :D

I used to have a black cat, but had to get rid of her because she wouldn't settle in my new house, so gave her to a friend. One thing I don't miss is when she came in to season and seeing other cats sat in the back garden :p

Chillout room is the right spot to be posting a report on pets in the cold When I choose to live in Alaska I knew it would be cold no one to blame but myself. Really it is as cold as it has been here in a very long time. For those of you that question Homer is 230 road miles south of Anchorage Alaska. We will not see 56 above till May? By then we are approaching 20 hours of daylight. Stay warm

Hi fireman,

Thanks, it makes more sense to me now :o it doesnt get that cold here at least not very often :) (too far west)

Magix will ask to go out, so I'll let him go, as I said before he will shiver like mad and shoot back in. 10 mins later he will be back at the door miauing to go out again. This would go on all day if I let it  Cats must be really stupid!! He is still my bestest buddy though :D

Thought I'd change mine to Celsius, and it's 2° at the moment, so chances are it will drop below freezing during the night, although looking out the window there's some great red streaks across the sky so we could have a good day tomorrow.

Red sky at night shepherds delight,
Red sky in the morning shepherds warning.

Well about an hour since I put that temp and I've just checked and it's now 0° told you we'd be down to freezing before the nights out ;)
