Yes, thanks very much. I've downloaded 175.19 to my desktop and I'll probably give it a try tomorrow night.
I'm not really having any issues with 175.16 but I'm not really pushing my GPU at the moment as I haven't got time for much gaming. I'm getting some blackouts when the screensaver should be starting but I think that's something else.
best wishes, John

Steven,
There is a 32 bit version of the Series 200 177.41 to from the link on the 1st page.
LOL they pulled the original download, it was for Vista 64bit Geforce 6-7-8-9 only last time I checked
LOL, I guess NVIDIA goofed and put the download in the wrong series and realized it later.
That would be a big jump from 175.19.

Gunther,
You can give the 175.19 version a try to see. If it does not perform well, then go back into Device Manager and click the Roll Back Driver button under the Display adapters for your device to go back to the 175.16 version.
Hope this helps,

Gunther,
No, the official NVIDIA 177.## driver versions is only for the 200 series cards.
They may have meant that some modified driver version form a source other than NVIDIA with that driver version may work with the 8 series.

Hello there Thanks for this Great Upgraded thanks again

OK.. I have gave in, I just got myself the eVGA GTX 260. I gave my choice a lot of thought. I VERY well almost got the 4870. but in the end I have a Nvidia chipset, and eVGA has a Lifetime Warranty, and a 90 day step up program. Both unlike any ATI. (Visiontek is only brand with lifetime warranty). so in the end, with the 2 cards performing Just about neck and neck.. at my res that is. the 4870 may be slightly better. but at 1680 x 1050 Where I use my 22" Widescreen. the 2 are almost identical in almost all game reviews.. from what I read. Not the mention that Nvidia can OC a little better than the ATI's. in the end this was just the Logical Choice for me.. might not be for everyone. but for me. It's just right..
So, I need Drivers. What should I get. I just got home. I am going to install the card in the next hour. Can't wait
So what Drivers should I get, what all do I need. Do I need to install the Drivers, CUDA, and Physics. or is CUDA and physics both in the same install.. If someone could link me to what all I'll be needing I'd very much Appreciate it ASAP..
Thanks.. and Pictures will for sure be coming soon.
