Hi, I need help with my windows vista sound. My sound was working perfectly and all of a sudden on my next start-up my volume icon (speaker) on the screen bottom tool bar has a red X. I have no sound at all. When I right click it I get " windows audio service not enabled" then I get a message that states "would you like to enable windows audio service" I click yea and nothing happens.
I'm not computer savvy......so I tried a few things with no luck. I installed a 2nd copy of Vista on my computer. The sound worked, but having 2 vistas took all my memory and I uninstalled my 2nd Vista which leaves me with no sound.....again
Can someone help me remove my volume red X and get my sound back. I'll appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
