The verifier is suppose to cause you to BSOD, and then you post the file. If the scans are negative, let me see the reports that lead you to the conclusion that it was the mystery software.
well i think hard drive then the windows drive is pretty full
Its not overheating have checked this frequently (watercooled pc too)
Its not running any overclock at the moment
What shall i do buy a new HD and install windows on that ?
Will i still be able to acsess all the programs that have been installed to my current drive or will i have to reinstall everyting ? ( this is a bad option for me)
If your hard drive is full, why not buy an external hard drive and put most of your stuff there. Then your computer may work better. There will be no need to reinstall Windows.
I decided to run chkdsk to see what that came up with if anything
On reboot i got an instant blue screen
after that i tried again and the system attempts to run chkdsk again even though its already done it , So i think i must have to disable chkdsk in the options
So i attemp to restart the computer in safe mode to do so and now the computer wont even load safe mode
if i start normally it will just run chkdsk straight away - then bluescreen once chkdsk has finished - on reboot it just runs chkdsk again ..... and on and on
if i try safe mode it shows you the loading files and then never loads
if i start it using "last known good settings" it starts up
I am not there, but once you are sure that the Drive is bad might as well dispose of it.
Remember, dont just discard it, break it up into little pieces first. You have sensitive information on the drive. If it gets into the wrong hands they may be able to get that info.
