Solved Zip Files

I have run into a problem, that is I can download zip files (i.e. I can see them coming across the network with device manager and see them building up in the download window and see the file name and part name in the destination directory) but when the download completes the part file disappears and the working file has zero bytes in it.
Can any one help.

Do you have any security programs or toolbars installed that may filter your downloads to prevent ZIP files from downloading properly?

Double check to make sure that the file extention is .zip for the file. If not, then you might see if using the free program 7-Zip will allow you to open the file.

You might also try downloading and merging the ZIP download in the tutorial below to restore all of the default ZIP associatons in Vista.

Thanks for your help Brink. What you did is make me look at my internet protection (AVG8), it had completelty collapsed and I had to uninstall it and then reinstall it. All is working OK now. :D
