well i would have voted for Mccain (the one who was running for president) not Obama (the american idol) but being to young i couldn't.......... even still the guy is..... far from smart

EXACTLY CORRECT! Reminds me when so many people were P-O'd at Bush "the elder" running for his second term. Too many of 'us' who perceived any change to be for the good pulled the lever for Ross Perot. <WRONG!> The myopic downside of that was that the behavior put Clinton in office.
One might say 'cranialrectitis' was the enabler that put an unqualified candidate into the Oval Orifice then, just like the present inhabitant now :eek:

everybody's pissed, and rightfully so, but where were all of the dissidents and loud boisterous voices when W. used eight years to bring us to where we are? the man ain't even been in the office for 90 days yet! y'all expecting a miracle or do you subscribe to rush's p.o.v.?

i'm not too thrilled with everything i'm hearing from obama either, but i'll at least reserve my judgment until i see him bring some change or f**k stuff up more. i can at least give him that.

My only criticism of Obama in this thread has been his treatment of the British and Israel. Doing anything to alienate our only remaining allies is simply global political suicide. Though I did not vote for him (I am a proud, loud, registered Libertarian), I am certainly willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, and to see what he is able to accomplish before passing judgment, but, these policies show an extreme, and yes, potentially deadly lack of judgment.

I do, However, recall with certainty, plenty of carping by "dissidents and loud boisterous voices" during W's administration. This ain't nothing new, just coming from the other side of the fence!
