i am a old school original wolfenstein player, i have the game installed have not played it yet but i will later tonight.

i am really looking forward to playing it.

let us know what the multiplayers like and what it involves , i heard its like enemy territory quake wars , i loved that

it is ok nothing special, good graphics, ok story, lots of bangs, have not tried the multiplayer as that is really not my style.

I played it the other day for 2 hours and i got 25% through the game but than played it yesterday for another 2 hours and it only krept up to 35%.

and i am playing it on death incarnate and it seems really easy to me.

i cant beleive how many gamers there are on ere that dont play multiplayer , i had cod 4 for 6 months before i even tried the single player!!

I played it last night on x-box and seen it for the PC so i am definitely getting it.

PC gaming is better.

Call it bad luck, call it bad usage, call it NOT being a PC guru, my situation is that I have had very bad experiences every time I try to do MP.

Hopefully, MW 2 will change that and I will start doing some MP then.

Iv tried everything,patch,new ati driver,etc....but....

Do you get any error message when it crashes ?, and is it a crash to desktop or lockup you are getting ?.

The only thing i can think of is a re-install with the usual admin and compatibility settings.
I don't hold out much hope though.

I just loaded the game today and it works fine. I am running it on Vista Home Premium 64 bit SP1. It only will play with the disc in and does bring me back in at my last checkpoint. Anyone know why the game doesn't show up in my programs after I loaded it on the machine? It didn't put an icon on my desktop.

Hello olriverrat,
You will find the icons in the "Games" Folder, you can make a shortcut from there if you want one on your desktop.
It does take a bit of getting used to, the "games" folder, good idea though.

It should show up in your games folder mate, but Wolfenstein is an awesome game. Full HD displays and 30in 2560x1600 (on my mates with 3xGTX285's overclocked on his core i7-975 O'C'd to 4.7Ghz was spectacular) I told him to get off for a few hours gave him some money to get us some lunch while I played on his beast (only fair, I did build it for him). I was blown away by the detail, but to be fair I liked the detail in Farcry 2 better (but that's just a personal preference, always had a thing for the African continent and its landscape)
Do play this game, i agree spectacular

Excellent!! Found it and created my desktop icon. It is a rad game. The original was my all time favorite. Still go back to it occassionally. Thanks. It's nice to have a real guru in the forum!!
