Windows Vista No Drives Found during Installation [SOLVED]

Why would I need USB drivers? The USB works fine. The problem is that the installation can't detect any hard drives. I recently bought a new hard drive, would using that make any difference to the one I'm using now? When I use diskpart on the install, it can't detect any hard drives, however when I put in a windows 10 install disk and use diskpart, it CAN see the hard drive. Will be testing if Windows XP can see the hard drive soon.

"posting at MSFN". That indicates that MSFN is a forum. Adults use an internet search engine ( e.g. google, bing) to find it.

It should be obvious he thinks that somebody at MSFN might be able to help you. Go and have a look on MSFN and find out by asking your question there.

There is a vista section at MSFN. Somebody might be familiar with installing on your machine. Or they might not. The only way to find out is by asking them.

In addition, you could ask at win raid forum. They do a lot of modding. Maybe somebody at win raid is familiar with your machine. Or maybe not. The only way to find out is by asking them.

Would applying the ISO through DISM++ work? I think I tried it but it didn't show up as letting me apply it. Is there a certain way to do it?

This article seems to offer some possibilities to fix this, even though it's for Win 7-

S1W2 or one of the others might be able to refine it for Vista.

I got it installed using DISM++ on Windows 10, and got a dual booting setup with it, but whenever it gets past the Windows Vista "logo" (the bar with the green lines going across) it just gives me a BSOD for a split second and restarts the PC. It flashes on and off the screen so fast it's impossible to read it.

The first one on that I already tried. Same with second and third, and fifth. I can't do fourth.

Is there any way to see the BSOD it flashes? I'll see if I can find a restart on failure setting.

I wonder what post prompted this scolding? Probably the one in which OP expressed irritation regarding a post that was admittedly “Not for you.” Bravo Ten20! Unless you still hope someone here can out-google you, I still say you should post at MSFN.
