Hey, I am new to Vista, was on XP, but I love it so far....But a few things I need to work around here...
I have a program that I constantly use for Form Letters to my clients...I do not email thru the programs interface, as all formatting is lost if I simply email....I have the option of making the letters html, but havent gotten up to that point yet....bascially I didnt have to with Outlook...I would just simply CUT & PASTE the email into Outlook, and all the formatting would stick with the letter...double spacing between paragraphs, html links, bold text....
Well with Windows Mail...that all goes bye bye
...any reason for this??? I have resorted to exporting the form letter in html and then inserting in Windows Mail...then the formatting sticks...I send the mail in html since I am using stationary with a logo and photo header as well.
The software that I am using for the form letters said this:
FYI - we did find that the Copy and Paste from any Rich Text (any text that has formatting) is always lost in Windows Mail. This is a â?oKnown Windows Mail Bugâ?. Here is a forum discussing the issue.
