I used to be able to right click on the Windows mail "deleted Items" folder and obtain options such as "clear folder" This is no longer working. What can I do to restore this feature.
If you do not have the option below available, then you may have a stuck message in the "Deleted Items" folder. You might see if you can delete them one by one (right click or drag to Recycle Bin) instead until you delete the stuck one that will then allow you to clear the whole "Deleted Items" folder normally". The options in PROBLEM ONE of the tutorial below should be able to help you with this as well if needed.
Did you go through all of the options in the PROBLEM ONE section of the tutorial link above to delete them all manually to see if you could clear the "Deleted Items" folder next time? Could you also post a screenshot of what you are seeing as well? Be sure to blank out any personal information in it first though.
Yes All the deleted messages are cleared. I can clear them individualy if I open the folder "deleted items" or I can highlight all of them and then delete them. The problem rests with that fact that I cannot right click on the folder name (without opening it) and see the options like Ii used to.
