Ah thanks, my win module installer was off, scanning now, i will report back as to what it says

Ok I did the scan and it found corrupt files that it couldnt repair, I then went back did system files sfc command and the txt page was in my desktop as it should be but I dont know what any of it means really

Oh I just noticed it says that the files it cant repair are in use and I need to re-boot to complete

When errors are found, run 2 more times. Some errors cannot be fixed first shot. If that does not work send us the log.

Hello Patchy

When starting out the sfc can be somewhat confusing as it is for everyone and the tutorials are great and there are different ways of doing things. My favorite is this one.

1. Click start...
2. All programs...
3. Click accessories...
4. Right click on the command prompt...
5. Run as administrator, and when the command box apears then you type...
sfc /scannow
6. Notice there is a space between the sfc and the forward slash...
