Hello. I don't want to be rude and hijack tooze's thread, but I have almost exactly the same problem. I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 (64 bit). The operating system has just been reinstalled and now the audio is stuttering. I was wondering if it was a software issue or if there is something wrong with the soundcard.
Also, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and disabling enhancements. The SFC scan came up with no violations. I tried disabling all of the startup services and the audio seemed to be fine when I disabled the Intel Matrix Storage Manager. Could that be causing the problem?
Hello and welcome to the forums
Don't worry, it's not rude at all
It would be best if you started your own thread This way the help you receive will be specific to your problem. Post a link to your thread on this thread and I'll come and have a look for you. This Intel Matrix Storage Manager revelation does sound interesting!
